今天约好了PL Clique 到思慧家吃晚餐。说起来也真巧，我有两个同名又同姓的朋友！黄思慧！哈哈！我们原本打算准备一道chocolate fondue 当饭后甜点的，但谁知，我们失败了！不过，准备过程还蛮好玩的，七八个人在厨房里吵吵闹闹，决心想要拯救即将被烧干的巧克力！味道还不错，大家最后都吃得津津有味！

除了chocolate fondue 之外，今天的晚餐都不是我们亲自准备的。哈哈！我们怎么会有那么强的实力来准备一桌子的山珍海味呢？这是我们的大合照！真的好高兴能够和大家一起吃喝玩乐！

虽然我们都升上了大学，但大家还是童心未泯， 决定大玩猫抓老鼠的游戏！Mind you, we’ve been playing this game ever since secondary one! It has been 7 years and we’re still passionately fond of this game! I remember we used to utilise our white belts rather effectively, using them as a blind fold! Gone are the white belt days, we’ll have a yellow towel instead.

Banana is finally back from China! Holidays are quite boring without her presence. We used to sleep over at each others house during our PL days, practice maths questions in her cozy little bedroom, entertain ourselves with the “PC-Sessions” and shop at the nearest “pasar Malam” for our favourite food and Winnie the pooh stickers! I wonder how life would have been for me if I didn’t have Banana as my neighbour!

Received a beautiful gift from Banana today! It was really to my liking. Actually I’ve been a lucky girl all along. Although I’m not an avid traveller, I’ve got friends who travel! And when they do travel, I’d receive nice little tokens from them:) Like ler ser ling who went to Taiwan,goh ah lean who went to Korea and PresidentAng who went to Thailand! I always feel loved when I’m presented with mementoes from overseas, at least I know that I’m being remembered.

Yup, so Banana and I went to the IT fair today! It was extraordinary crowded and the ventilation was horribly terrible. To add on to it, her lover appeared out of a sudden when it was about time to go home! It was really awkward intially, but the atmosphere was lifted up when he started imitating the actions/voices/behaviours of the various nan chaiu high people from nanyangjc. The most classical one was none other than the imitation of mr phua poh boon! I mean, it was REALLY hilarious!

So much so about that. Met up with my PL clique for steamboat the day before! Being the only 2 unemployed beings in the gang, serene and I took the effort to walk about the entire Bugis area to search for a nice restaurant for dinner! Dinner was fabulous! Serene tried frying beef with garlic and spastic seying actually took the pain to fry her tomato+egg+garlic+chicken fried rice! Serene’s garlic beef was well-received(clap clap) while seying’s friedrice was pretty average! HEE!(ok la, good effort)

The thought of our Primary school principal, Mrs Lim Kim Chee, came by when ah lean and cel brought a bowl of kimchi back to our table. It was definitely worth laughing(HAHA!) if you can catch the joke! Mrs Lim was a good principal, she was a caring mother and a lovely elderly. Although she had this weird habit of making us sing the school song/school creed/national athem for many times a day, established a rule that all girls must have short hair and  was prone to saying REALLY REALLY LONG prayers, we respect her “Do everything in Love”, she would say and then point to the green slope just beside the parade square.

WOW, so it was teachers’ day celebration cum aces day at  nanyang yesterday. Well, it was pretty boring as compared to PL. but of course, i love the aces day workout and the quality time spent with my friends =)) Ser and Sihui went to shake mr-oh-so-cute’s hand without me! I bet Ser’s heart skipped a beat when mr-oh-so-cute’s hand touched hers.

After celebration at nanyang, ser,pris,sihui and I proceeded to our ”secret hideout”- the YU-PIAN-MEE-FEN stall! Afterwhich ser and I met up with lean and we marched our way to PL =)) PL has changed a lot, I think the pupils there are living in too much comfort! There was the xpress-photo printing machine, the slurppy machine, toaster, microwave oven, instant noodle section, 8-days magazines and many other junks sold in the mini 7-11 shop which they term as “PL-Perisseia”! yup, it lives up to its name of being an one-stop gift shop!

YES- they’ve got an ample supply of instant noodle in school! No more crossing-over-the-road for them!

 On top of that, Archie comics ,puma jackets, ear rings and hairbands were on sale too! what is the world coming to? PL is seriously undergoing a major revolution!

Well,Lean and I played with the photo printing machine, it was quite an experience! OH, there was a roof top cafe and a roof-top bball court too, I’m amazed =)) Of course, we didnt forget to go to our FAVOURITE HANGOUT- the unique toilets with beautiful mural paintings!

BUT LOOK AT WHAT THEY’VE DONE TO THE FIELD?

aLRIGHT, so we chatted with the teachers and explored the new campus. I think i prefer the old campus, this new campus seems like jail, oops, i’m sorry! Its not as vibrant as before, I think the fault lies in the colour combination.  While touring, I heard the primary school girls singing the school creed- “I WOULD BE TRUE”. I think the song is rather meanigful and inspiring!

i dont know why, but these stanzas of the song “journey” describes my feelings very aptly. i think too much modern lit and 《茶馆〉have made me excessively emotional. a very big thank you to PPY and ZX who stood by my side quietly. and not forgetting mum who has been so encouraging! its not that i dont wanna share my troubles, its just that i really dont know how to express my thoughts verbally.

i’m still in a dilemma whether to quite H3.
no, i’m actually very sure that i wanna quit and its jus a matter of time.
but the teacher has advised us to think through it again before telling her our final decision after block test. haii. 垂死挣扎。

yup. on a higher note, i wanna thank God for placing many beautiful people in my life who are there to make me SMILE.

BLESSED CHRISTMAS

I must say that i had a wonderful christmas this year. =))

met up with the 4a2 clique at celene’s house and we had loads of good food + great talk! i miss them all, i miss PL and i love my fellow PL-lites!

heres ah lean(my lab partner who has hidden talent in singing), shar (the karate girl), serene(the buddy who has been with me since long ago), celene(the crazy fan of baebae),jas(osama sis aka muscle girl),yunqian(retro maths girl) and me!

we decided to play blind mice at celene’s basement cos we were tired of singing! lean and I were singing wu ding cos we decided to sing a song sung by a singer with the surname WU! ( we are proud of our surname GOH!) then the rest acted as our ardent fan, screaming, waving and taking pictures! oh- we mus acknowledge our AVA crew,yunqian and celene!

we didnt get the chance to “fight” cos celene’s brother brought the xbox to camp. sounds bizzare to us, cos her brother is in NS.and whats even shocking was that her brother has hair on his head! we thought that they were supposed to be bald.hmm.

Watched a movie with serene,yq and mel yesterday. it was a good show with a light hearted tone. it was so funny when we heard the person saying “some are born great, some achieve greatness, some have greatness thrust upon them”. I think its something similar to the above.HAHA! it reminded us of our seconday lit text, twelfth night! and MALVOLIO was the one who said that! dramatic irony! i can imagine malvolio with his yellow stockings dancing about saying the above lines!

YUP. so we saw some of our 2b2 classamtes =))like jas seah, jojo(my seating partner),joanna,POW,shijie,kat,tiff adeline KONG,belize and all! I guess we’ll be meeting up soon- yes, chinese new year! so thats all. taiwan earthquake..booom.
